Description of Service

HouseChalk provides decision guidance tools for homeowners building or renovating custom homes. Our services include guided decision simulations ("Dojos"), decision boards, and educational content.

User Accounts

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

HouseChalk is a decision guidance tool. We help you think through tradeoffs, surface timing considerations, and organize your reasoning. We do not make decisions for you.

Every decision you make using HouseChalk remains entirely yours. You are responsible for evaluating the information we provide, consulting with qualified professionals (builders, architects, engineers, etc.), and making choices appropriate for your specific situation.

We do not provide professional construction, architectural, engineering, or financial advice. We do not guarantee any specific outcomes. Building projects involve many variables beyond our control, and results will vary based on your decisions, your professionals, and your circumstances.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HouseChalk shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services.

Payments and Billing

Subscription plans and billing terms will be confirmed at launch. Details on pricing, billing cycles, and cancellation policies will be provided at the time of signup.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time, and your access will continue until the end of your current billing period.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to our services at any time for violations of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may also close your account at any time.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms and updating the effective date. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
